Ali's a SENIOR!

Yep....Ali's a SENIOR this year. I'm pretty sure everyone is shocked at how fast this came [cause for me only knowing her for 5 years, I was shocked]! Last weekend Ali, Julie and I went around town taking her Senior photos --we had such a great time! And, of course, they helped me scope out some new spots.

ALI -- CONGRATS on your SENIOR YEAR! I know it's going to be a blast and before we know it you'll be gone to College.

Tink and Bane

This morning while getting dressed I could hear the puppies playing outside --being rough as usual. As I was heading out the door, I thought I'd just check on them, so I pulled up the blinds on the door and I saw this:























So, of course I had to take a photo, but I didn't want Tink to move so I grabbed my phone. She LOVESSS Bane and this was just too cute not to share! :-) (The other pup is Beauty)

new, new, new....

I love new things, even more so when it's NEW LIVING ROOM FURNITURE!! This is the first living room furniture I've ever purchased (I'm sure Brant as well). Don't get me wrong, I love our parents hand-me-downs, but there is something about buying your own stuff! Of course, I took photos, but it was literally after we were done putting the pieces in place. Soooo the living room isn't as nice as it should be ;-). I can't wait for our Rudasill/Cook Christmas, because it's at our house this year -- and I'm super excited about it!

In puppy news: we still have 4 little pups lounging around the house. I don't have any recent photos, maybe I'll get some this weekend. They are still lots of fun to watch. I could sit and watch them play for hours, it's that funny! :-).

Happy Hour...

So, today was the last day of work for Tiffany, our fabulous student worker. She's moving on to bigger and better things. It's sad for us, but good for her. So, we decided to go out for Happy Hour and now decide to do it twice a month! yay! We had a fun time, here are a few pics.

Ike takes strike! - UPDATE

[UPDATE: PUPPIES ARE HOME - YAY!!!!!!! I'm SOO HAPPY!]

Well, as you all know Ike has come and gone. While we didn't get the worst of it, we know a few people who did. I was able to get some pics from the bathroom window of the storm :) hehe! BUT, I am not happy with Ike as Gabby decided she wanted out of the yard, taking with her Bane, Mickey and Daisy. Bane and Mickey are happily home BUT Gabby and Daisy are still out there and we don't know where. I have signs up, but no calls. I'm very sad and just hope they are some where with someone, then being stuck in the creek. Here's a few pics:

Ariel becomes Sadie

It's true. Our little Ariel has now become Sadie and has the best home ever. The Dukes (who I've grown up with all my life) decided they wanted a puppy for Lane - - and well guess who had what they were looking for?! Yep, this weekend they came to pick out their puppy for the family and they chose Ariel.

We're SOOO glad she went to thier home. Now we'll get to see her and play with her whenever we'd like.

PUPPY UPDATE!

Well, it's been a while since I've posted about our sweet little puppies. Right now we have 6, but in a few hours we'll be down to 5. This post will be all photos of the past few weeks. Enjoy!

BACK HOME!

YAY! After a long 4 days of not being able to stay at our house, we're finally back in it!! We have new wires and a new breaker box, and hope it continues to stay new :). My advise to any homeowners out there - KEEP YOUR WARRANTY! That warranty saved us $3000.00!

Now that we're finally home my crazy life will become crazier ;).

This weekend my bestest friend, Ayms and my 2nd family, The Cooke's are coming to get their puppy!!! I'm SOOO excited for several reason. 1. I get to see Ayms, 2. I get to see my Cookies and 3. one of our puppies is going to an AWESOME home and I'll get to see her whenever I want. Can't get better than that!

Once my Cookie family is gone I'll be heading to Conroe to take Engagement pictures of Steph and Jeff. This is going to be so much fun!! I can't Wait to share the photos once we're done!

Then on Sunday, I'll be taking Senior pictures of Ali. This definitely going to be an awesome, jam-packed weekend and I can't wait!!!

Counting our blessing

I know I haven't posted recently and had planned to this weekend UNTIL.....we got a scare.

What was this scare? Well, Saturday night our breaker box decided it wanted to literally blow up! As in smoke in garage, house, black on the walls, etc. We are very LUCKY that the entire house didn't catch on fire (per the 2 electricians that came out). So, we have no electricity at the house and we've been living at my parents since Saturday night (luckily, they are gone camping, until tonight). Not only that, I had to completely un pack both refrigerator's - - oh what fun, but that's ok with me, it's better than having no house at all!

We are also very lucky that we kept the home warranty. This would have been one mighty expense!

Other than that, we've just been busy working, playing with the puppies, trying to sale the puppies, and enjoying our time. Not to mention my photography business has become crazy busy - which is good :)
