It's beginning to look a lot like

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!

We took Maddie for her first photo with Santa today...She looked too cute in Santa's arms...of course she was a sleep...but she was still too precious.

Maddie is 4 weeks old today, and she'll be 1 month old Thanksgiving day. I'm guessing, based on her weight last Friday she's almost 9 lbs now :).

Week 3 of Mads life

Miss Madeline (who has many nicknames: Maddie, Mads, Mah, pumpkin, & more to come I'm sure) has now reached the end of her 3rd week of life. My how time is passing so quickly and she's getting so big and fun! Thanksgiving day she will be 1 month - ONE MONTH?? Seriously...our time is going so fast and before I know it I'll be back at work -- and sad! Here's photos from the week and I'm sure Thanksgiving week there will be many many more!

2 weeks Old

Miss Maddie is now 2 weeks old (on the 9th). We had her first Doctors appointment and she is healthy and perfect! She weighs 7 pounds, 7 ounces (she was 7.1 when we left hospital). Doc says she's looking great. We go back at 2 months where we start shots - yikes! We had our first mini-shoot to capture some photos for her birth announcement. It was fun, can't wait till I'm 100% healed and can do much more with her as far as photography shoots go ;). Here's a few photos from the week.

Maddie had lots of visitors while at the hospital and at home...She thanks everyone for coming to see her :). She is now 2 weeks old, her first Doctors appointment is tomorrow -- we'll update soon with her stats!!

First week of Maddie's Life

I'm not sure yet as to how I will update the blog - either week by week, month by month or just when I find the time -- what do you want to see - week by week or month by month? I will try to start with a week by week and see how that goes. Maddie is 12 days old today -WOW! 12 days already, time is flying by. She changes everyday and is just tooo cute. The McNew's came to visit and Courtenay was in for a shock, when we told her we wanted a bath lesson :). And since dad watched them do her hair at the hospital, we had him be our tutor as well :) fin times!
