It's here....
Our new dinning room furniture and it's PERFECT!! It's a perfect match (color wise) for our table! It's also in very good condition to be so old. Of course, (by many request), I'm posted photos below. Including our china that I love and the cross wall we've started :)....Enjoy! I will be posting photos later today from the photo shoot I had yesterday & the one I have today on my Photography blog - check them out! :)

Ready for the weekend...
What a week it's been...
1. I started this week, for some random reason, looking for a China Cabinet so we can finally display all of our stuff. Brant's parents got us this gorgeous Duncan Phyfe (I now know the name, due to all this research) dinning room table, so I've been looking for something to match it. While searching online at different places I come across our exact table with matching Cabinet and buffet. I was SO EXCITED to find this! Turns out they were wanting WAY more than I personally think they should have been asking. After finding out the name of our table, I was able to search that way....so my search continued for the next couple of days. Well, tonight was the night because not only did I find [the] china cabinet AND matching buffet, it's coming from a wonderful family, it's a REALLY good deal, AND we weren't even planning to get a matching buffet! We're picking it up Saturday and I can't WAIT! Of course I do have 2 photos of the pieces and of course there will be MORE to come when it's in our home!!! ☺

2. Puppy scare: Gabby started to become 'mean' towards her babies. They are in the playful stage and they want to play with anything and anyone. Which leads them to play with her and she just isn't having it! So, 2 days ago Gabby decides she wants to 'escape' from them and be FREEEE.....what she didn't know is 3 of her babies didn't want that and followed her OUT of the fence. Not only is it just 'the fence', it's the side that backs up to the feeder rd & hwy 6....YES the hwy! Brant and I were getting ready to leave for work and he yells "Jae, I think the puppies are gone" I run to the living room, we go outside and sure enough there were 3 puppies on the other side of the fence crying. When we went out side I only counted 5, so I knew 4 were missing. At this point we didn't even realize Gabby was gone (this wasn't her first rodeo, for sure), so I get in the car, drive on the feeder, pick 3 of them up and started looking for the 4th, I was so upset that I couldn't find the 4th. I continue to drive down the feeder, came back up our street and as I was driving I see a chocolate lab, it's Gabby - 2 houses down - so I get her, we go inside and I asked Brant how many he had with him - he said 6, so thank goodness there were 9 in the yard! It was one heck of a morning, I'm just glad we still have all 9, plus Gabby. Needless to say the fence is secure, until gabby finds a way past it (she's REALLY good about that).
3. This week/weekend I have a busy schedule, I have 2 photo shoots, plus going to Austin to pick up the furniture. It's going to be a fast weekend for us, but that's ok because it's going to be a good one! ☺
I will have photos from the weekend and puppies soon!

puppies, puppies, puppies....
We are still cute, fun, loving, rowdy, messy and just plane ADORABLE!!
Today Jenn and I decided to get up and sit at Wal-Mart to try and see if we could sale any - - did we??? noooooooo :( (but, that's ok). We only stayed like 1 1/2 because it was HOT, and it was only 9:30am! yeah! Any ways...
After we got home MIL (mother-in-law) & FIL (Father-in-law) called to tell us they were coming by to drop off the buffet she wanted to give us. It's SOOO pretty and I've already 'decorated' it with the flowers I got from my sweet hubby and crystal candy dishes we received as wedding gifts. Of course, they are empty right now, but I plan to put candy in them :).
After I decorated the buffet, Brant and I played with the puppies and I got some cute shots of them. Below are all the pics (don't forget to check out their cute little collars)...Now we're just watching the Olympics!
Enjoy your day!

We got shots....
Today the pups got their 6 week old shots!!!! They didn't cry at all and they did very well. Good thing I had my dad and Jenn there to help, b/c it was crazy in the vets room with all 14 of us...heehee....I will post pictures this weekend, b/c they all have their own colors now...and they are too cute. We are down to 9 as Blanton came to pick up his "Kate" tonight.
Any ways, we're planning to go and sit at Wal Mart this weekend and try to sale some - haha! This should be fun, but hey lots of people do it!
So, the puppies are now FOR SALE. If you know anyone who's wanting a Chocolate CUTE lab they can email me at jmhick@yahoo.com - It will be sad to see them go :(
I'll post pics this weekend...

It's about that time about....
My little munchkins will be 6 weeks on Wednesday! Can't believe the time is here already. It's going to be so sad to see them go. They are SOOO much fun to watch. Tonight I decided to take some pics of them while eating. They are a mess when it comes to eat, not only that they are starting to get into the pool by themselves, so I was able to catch that too. Enjoy the pics..

I'm Back....
After a long week and weekend I'm finally back to the 'real world', and this is probably the longest blog I've had yet.
First things first: Tory's wedding week - It was awesome! We started with a fun Cocktail party where Steph and I talked most of the time, along with Kate & Juliana. It was a nice gathering for the couple.
The next morning was the bridesmaid luncheon. Everything was set up beautiful, and the company was great. I got to play and see sweet little Nicholas & Olivia and finally got to see and talk to Courtney :). The food was very good, Tory's toast was cute, as always. It was a fun girl morning.

Then, off the rehearsal we go...This was just your typical rehearsal, nothing toooo exciting happening :), UNTIL we went to the rehearsal dinner - this was lots of fun. The food was really good and our table was TOOO funny! When you have Brant, Nash, Steph, Court and Evan there's bound to be fun at the table. Then, of course, everyone started their toasting. It's always fun to see what everyone is going to say. Steph, Ashley, Court and Brant got up for their speech and you know that's when all the laughs start. All I know it had something to do with a surgery table and taking Tory's tonsils out :) - - I was taking pics, so I had 1 ear open ;). After everything was done it was time for the Cousin picture to include David [groom]...usually we are REALLY good about this, prepared and ready to go. Well, we don't know what happened this time, but this was probably the time we were laughing the hardest and had to take about 50 pictures. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun!

Now, it's early in the morning [about 7:30] time to get dressed, make sure Brant is good to go before I leave and such. I head to the church to take pics of T getting dressed. This was a fun time for her, just to relax and be with her girls before things start. After all this, the pictures start, then next thing you know the 5 crew [Me, Brant, Steph, Court, and Evan]..I'll call us the 6 crew when Jeff is with us...:)....any ways, we're standing in the front waiting for people to come, passing out programs and stuff...of course we're talking about laughing [:)]..finally the guest arrive, so we get serious...in comes the guest, in we go, then the groomsmen, then the Bridesmaids, then in comes Tory - Absolutely Beautiful!! She was so pretty and looked happy. The ceremony didn't last long, but we still had to stay for family photos. After that we headed to the reception. Everything was so nice, the cake was beautiful (and delish), the food was great. Everything looked perfect for her perfect day!

Now it was Saturday, I was able to sleep in, but then had to get ready for a wedding in Brenham. I was 2nd shooting for Brandi Tejeda. It was a lot of fun. It was a small wedding, so everything seemed to work out great. I'll be able to post pictures of that later, but on my photography blog.
Now it's Sunday...RELAXING day for me! I'm getting a new photography website, and they told me it was ready, but had an error with my server. I was so sad, b/c I've been waiting since last Saturday to get it started. Oh well, hopefully by tomorrow the answers will be answered.
Hope you had a great weekend! I did! :)
