Good News was not so good news....

Well....I was off Thursday and Friday for Spring break. I wanted to take my time off cleaning the house, so we could get some buyers. I did a great job and was really excited about all that I accomplished. Well, Someone actually came to look at the house while i was home and I had literally JUST finished cleaning...Apparently they already looked at the house once, and wanted to come and look at it again. As soon as they walked in they asked if we had an offer on it - i replied with a no :(...I could tell they were really interested in it!

Well, about 4:30 the same day (Thursday) we get an OFFER! YAY - I know! BUT, it was a low offer (almost 9K less than what we had it listed for), so we counter back. We're hoping for the best, b/c we're actually going to look at a home today that we really like.

Well, they counter and said they wouldn't go anymore than 2K from their first offer. This is sad for us, b/c we have a set # that we don't want to go under and it's about the 5-6 less than our lowest price :(.

We won't get our hopes yet yet, b/c someone is supposed to come look at the house at 2:30 today...so we will continue to hope for the best. We are still going to look at the house, so I'll attach some pictures of that later :o).

Just a Monday

What a Morning! We got up this AM and it was SOOOO dark....and it's still just as dark outside. Not sure if I like that, having to wake up to darkness, drive in darkness, then see darkness out my window :(...Maybe it's just b/c the weather is bad...we shall see.

I just figured I would take this time to share some of my photography (photog) sessions. I will probably more than likely use this blog for Brant & Jae updates, as well as sharing photog sessions :o)....enjoy....

Well...The House below is under contract...and not by us:(....We still haven't sold our house, but we're still keeping the hope up. I have a feeling (hopefully it's real) that something is coming soon! Will continue to keep you posted on that!

Brant and Jae News:

Brant:
He's been SUPER BUSY with work. I mean, it is so weird to see exactly what kind of hard worker he truly is and the passion he has for it. He loves his job, he loves is boss(es) and he loves his co-workers. He just got a raise - yay - and he's going to be working in both parts of the company...web design and computer technician. We're all excited for him and couldn't be happier for his accomplishments...

Jae:
I had a BUSY BUSY month in February. It was crazy at work and I was always busy, which can be good. Now that it's over, I've had a chance to catch up and relax. I finally had a photog shoot last weekend. It was a windy day, but I got some great shots. This was the first time shooting small children. It was a challenge, but a lot of fun...pictures below :)

Brant & Jae as ONE....Our marriage is even better than before. We're learning life as a married couple as well as learning new things daily. It's a lot of fun and we couldn't be happier.

Hi...I know, sorry I haven't been blogging - I'm not even sure who reads these :) haha! (besides Sarah)

Well, First, please pray for Aggie (my parents puppy). She has some sort of Liver/Kidney problem that a lot of maltesse dogs have at young ages. Well, right now it's ok, but at the same time it's not looking good. As she gets odler it will get worse. Aggie and Sarge of the life of this family and to see one gone will be devestating! Please pray for her and my parents!

House news: Our house is still on the market, but there may be hopes of an offer coming in soon...that would be awesome BECAUSE just yesterday the PERFECT house was put of the market. It has exactly what we are wanting PLUS some! It's a 4/2/2 with 2 living and 2 dinning, huge yard, perfect area and more. We don't want to get our hopes up, but I know whatever will happen, will happen!

The house i posted a while back went through to a contract and that was very sad for me....But, like i said up there...whatever is supposed to happen, will :)

The last time I posted it was Thanksgiving - ooops!

Well, since Thanksgiving, we went on our family vacation to Walt Disney World....that was a lot of fun! saw Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, Pooh, you name it, we saw it! :)

Other than that, just relaxing trying to sale the house so we can being our life together...Although, we already are - it'll just be different :).

House news:
we're putting our house on the market this week :) - scary, but exciting.
We found a house we really like, we just have to hope ours sales fast, so we can get the new one! Yippy!

Back on track

Well, I'm still trying to get back on track, but things are going good so far.

Brant and I are still going strong after 1 week 1/2 of marriage. Still isn't a "big" change for us, but we love it! We got all of our wedding pictures in. Love them all. We have a lot to choose from, being we had LOTS of cameras there ;). Plus, I love pictures, so you can't expect anything less from me.

Brant and I our currently looking for houses. We're taking our time and trying not to get in a big rush. We did look at one (unknowingly) yesterday and we love it. It's an older home, but a huge lot, large square foot and lots of extras....Wanna know the secret - ITS RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO MY PARENTS!!!!! haha - yes, crazy but true!!! We'll have to see how this one will end. of course, I'll post pics if we actually end up buying it.

I know we're all looking forward to Thanksgiving. Brant and I will continue our journey from one home to the next....It is always fun, but tiring!

THE HICKERSON'S

Well, It's finally here - we're the Hickerson's. I can't beleive how fast the year went. It literally came and past in the flash of my eyes. What in the world am I going to do now?!?! :) I'm sure I can find something to get into!

Jenn and I are probably going to start taking photography class and start our own business. This has been a dream of mine for a Long time! I hope we're succesful at it.
