Colorado!!

We're home safe and sound from Colorado and we loved it! It's very peaceful in Colorado and visiting my cousin and cousin-in-law was awesome! Not to mention the skiing - the most fun yet! We had a very nice ski day w/no injuries ;).

When we finally made it home, we had a BIG surprise waiting for us! My parents decided to plant some shrubs and make a new flower bed in the front yard and WOW!!! They did A LOT of labor to get it where it is now. Of course, it took all day just to do one side, so all of us get to finish the other side next weekend :-) --I think we can handle that! (the dirt you see in front of the bed is just how much they moved all those bricks and dirt back) :)

Thank you Cuz and J-Cuz for letting us come, visit and 'live' with ya'll this week we had a blast and didn't want to leave! Mom and Dad - Yall ROCK! We got an awesome welcome back gift and can't thank you enough for what you did for us this weekend. We love you all :)!!!!

I see greeeeen....

It's beginning to look a lot like IRISH! I Love decorating my buffet for each season/holiday -- It's just too fun! So here is some of my March Greenness (more to come late)

I don't really have anything else going on. We're both just busy working! This weekend will start my craziness of photography -- until April that is! Yay!!

We're also super excited (and BUSY) in March, but can't wait for all the functions. So, stay tuned there will be tons of pics next month!

Love is in the air

Well, Valentine's Day is over, but not in this house :-). Wanted to share my 'season buffet' for Valentine's Day. It's so cute and just wait for March and April!! Don't have too much to blog about, we've just been working, working and more working! Enjoy the middle of February!

Fun, Fun and more Fun!

Stephanie's Bachelorette party was yesterday and oh what fun did we have! It started with a fun little game, then a delicious dinner prepared by the hostesses, opening those fun lingerie gifts, then a night on the town (which was quit the adventure getting into). Steph had a great time, I'm sure one she will never forget! Enjoy some of the photos of the night....

Before I headed to the Bach party, I spent the afternoon with Amy. I always enjoy any time we have together, I miss her so much :-)

Hall Project...

Is 1/2 way done! I decided to take a break from editing this past weekends wedding to work on the hall project. I am really happy with the outcome, but my oh my it turned into a costly project, so the rest is on hold :-). Luckily I only have 2 walls left. Here is some photos so far....

Hello there....

Well, hello there blog family. I'm sorry for my non blogging these days. Lots of things have been going on, I just haven't taken the time to actually sit down, download photos and blog. I will do better I promise :-).

Well, now that I think about it, not a lot has been going on really. Brant and I decided to seriously clean and straighten the house up while painting at the same time, so today I'm sharing the rooms we've painted. We LOVE them and are very happy with the out come. My next project is the hall project which I hope to start this weekend after shooting a wedding Saturday....I can't wait!

This is the Computer room, we decided to do a brown accent wall, although Brant does want to paint the other walls, we'll see how that goes :-). This color looks sooo good in person and it matches everything in the room so far.
















This is the start of the hall way, we were skeptical about the color, but it actually turned out very nice. I wanted a smokey grey, but this is actually a blue/grey color -- I think it's going to look great with the project I have in store for the hall....I'm so excited to start it, I hope it turns out ok! The color isn't as dark as it seems in the pictures....

Long Lost Post

Well, I know I haven't been blogging as much as I should be, so much has been going on, that's probably why! :-). I don't want this to be a super long blog, so I will share photos of what's been going on....

Finally came 2009!!!!!! We didn't do much, just watched the ball drop on TV :-). New Years day we went to my parents house to celebrate the new year and Grammy's Birthday.

We had an awesome break, where we just relaxed, watched TV, PAINTED, watched movies, and relaxed some more :). I was so excited to start painting, but of course I waited until the last week to do so. I finally got one room complete and here's the final product:





After I finished the room, I decided I wanted to put the guest bed in there, so that's what we did! :-)



So that's been our fun filled Christmas break! We're both soooo very sad it will end in 2 days :( Now we have to wait an entire year for another 2 week break. Oh well, I'm sure it will be a fun filled 2009!!!
