Finally the news we've been waiting for!!

We're closing on Enfield (old home) MONDAY!!!!!!!!!! Very exciting, being we were supposed to close on the 29th :o). All of their loan stuff is good to go! Monday is rather close, but it's better than nothing.

We're moving out this weekend and hopefully straight to the new home (just our stuff, not us yet). We're hoping to close on the new house Friday, the 9th. We shall see!!!!!!!!! Looks like we're living with my parents for only a week compared to the 3 it was going to be ;-) - hehe!

I'll keep you updated and of course I'm sure I'll post moving pics as soon as it begins - oh boy!!!!!

Brant turns 30!!!!!

Today we celebrated Brant's 30th Birthday....His SURPRISE 30th bday party :o)
He was so surprised and happy. He'd never had a surprise party and he was soooo thankful and excited about it :o) YAY!!!!!!!!!! Here's some of the pictures from today....

On another note...we arne't closing next Tuesday :-(....We have to wait longer for the buyers to find a new lender...We hope to move next weekend or the following and close soon....We just hope everything goes well!!!!!! :o).

Ashley's Senior Shoot

Along with the packing and moving this weekend I had a photography shoot. It was a lot of fun and allowed me to relax and doing something fun and that I love!!!! Ashley was so sweet and easy to work with. I got some cute shots, hope she likes them. I'm posting a few, but in the mean time I'm hitting the hay for another busy moving day! Oh joy! ;o)

The Adventures of selling and buying a house!

Selling and Buying a home at the same time can be very stressful. It wouldn't be so hard if you the down payment you are wanting to put on your new house was from the house you are selling :o).

It's hard to get close dates/move dates and all of that situated w/all the different scenarios!
This has definitely been an experience and it's not even over yet :o).....

Our house (the one we're selling) is going well and everything is good to go.
The house we're buying isn't going bad, we're just waiting for the couple (who's divorcing) to get the signed contract back to us, so we can figure out the move date and get all of that situated.

Right now everything is scheduled all in 1 day. Closing on our house, moving out of our house & it's the 1st day we're allowed to move our stuff to the new home, b/c we are doing a lease for moving in early.

If all of that was confusing and giving you a head ache, imagine what we're going through ;o)... Although, we are very excited about it at the same time!

I've already made out list of where I want to put what and what gets painted what color, etc, etc...Should be fun fun ;o)!!!

Well, We accecpted thier counter offer!!! YAY!! We MAY only have to make one move trip, but we'll see b/c it's only 2 weeks away. Amy has promised me a weekend of her 'interior design' skills - YAY!!! I'm posting some pictures, so you can see our new home! FINALLY :o) There is some work that needs to be done to it. Cleaned, carpet cleaned, painted, Kitchen cabinets updated, landscaping, etc. But, that's fun and it makes it you ;o)

Found a home

I won't get too excited or post pictures about it yet....as we can tell below that hasn't been in our favor ;o).....But, we did find another house today and we put an offer in just an hour ago. Hopefully this will be the one and we can live happily ever after....

I will post pictures once we get a signed contract!

Sad News on House :-(

Yes, it was a sad day yesterday. The house we were hoping would be ours is not going to be ours. This house was only on the market for 3 days when we put an offer on it, and apparently a lot of other people saw the same potential...So they accepted another.

That just means something else is out there that's supposed to be ours. This does mean we'll for sure be homeless now for 11 days and that's if we were to find something today...which we're not, cause we haven't seen anything else.

This is going to be an adventure! depending on how long it will be or if the home we like has a lease we'll either live w/my parents, Brant's parents or get a summer lease somewhere. YIPPY! [not].

I'll try to keep things posted, I didn't want to press my luck on Bristol, that's why I wasn't updating the blog. But, now that we don't have it I'll continue to post away! [thanks for the reminder, steph] :o).

Oh, and the good news is that we're closing on our house April 29th! That is some good news. Now I have 19 days to pack like crazy!
