Maddie rolled over this past weekend :)....Next she'll be on her way to crawling ;).

Luckily I got all of it on video...as she was rolling over my card was full, so I'm glad I got most of it...Enjoy!

28 days organizing challenge

oh yes! You read correctly. I found this Blog from another blog I read daily. Needless to say, it's what I've been needing for a room in our house....Actually EVERY room in our house. BUT, let me just stick with one room first ;).

This is our Office/Guest/EVERYTHING room! AND, as you can see Maddie has found her way into this room as well. Therefore, it's in much need of some organizing! Let the games begin!

Here are the before pictures:

3 months

Maddie is now 3 months old! (technically not until the 26th), but I'll save that post for her pro pics :). It's been almost a full year since we found out about a baby. Wow, has that year FLOWN right on by!

Maddie is getting tons of personality now - she smiles (a lot), laughs, coos, and of course cries :). She is determined to sit up and she's starting to hate lying down any sort of way while she is awake...oh boy :).

She's still sleeping through the night - woo hoo! Last weekend she was sleeping 10-12 hours. Those were also the days she decided not to nap or only take cat naps.

She weighs 13 pounds, 8 ounces and about 23in. long -- This is all my measuring and weighing ;).

I will be taking her 3 month photos soon, so watch out for those.

Brant and Jae news -- Brant has been interviewing for a new job, and actually has one today, so we are praying he gets the job. It will be a wonderful opportunity for him. Goooo Brant! :-). As for me, My photography business is back up and running. Have my first wedding this weekend, so we'll see how it goes. I am in the middle of deciding if I want to continue with weddings right now or just stick with portrait sessions, so we'll see.

Lots of Sighs...

The first day back to work wasn't bad at all! I think it help taking her straight from bed to car seat...so I didn't have to see her looking at me and smiling. That made things much easier! However, the second day she was awake and smiling...It's sad when I have to wake her up to feed and dress her -- and that was the 7th hour of sleeping.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful New Years! now that I'm back to work, I'm sure I'll be blogging more, so there is some good news at the end of the tunnel :).

Maddie at 2 months

Yep, you read correctly, Maddie is now 2 months old!!! At her 2 month appointment she weighed 10lbs, 15oz and 22 1/2 inches long. She's 50% percentile in both weight & height and Doc says everything is great! Every morning when we wake up, she changes in some way. It's so neat watching her grow, but wow is it going by so fast. I go back to work in a week and I am NOT looking forward to it. A month ago, I was ok with it, but now that it's here I'm not. I'm sure I'll manage.

Let's see what she does since my last blog -- she sleeps all night. We are on a night schedule right now (knock on wood), we go to bed between 10:30-11pm and wake up between 6:30-7:30am, sometimes 8am. We are very lucky for this and can't believe she already sleeps so well. She loves to smile, especially in the morning. She holds her head really strong. We started putting her in her bumbo seat -- she seems to like it so far. She loves swing time and will usually fall asleep while swinging. She loves music and tries to sing along ;-). She still has all her dark hair...I don't think it will fall out, but there is still a lot of time if it does.

We had her first Christmas and although she's not sure of what's going on, she got plenty from Santa! :).
