Meet Madeline Alisa

Miss Madeline Alisa was born on October 26, 2009 at 12:41pm, weighing 7 lbs, 5 oz, 19 inches long. She is our joy and we are so in love!!!! We are definitely getting used to being parents, but we take it one day at a time. Sorry I haven't posted pictures, slowly getting my routine back. She swallowed some fluid at birth, so had to have IV's, so some pictures you'll see she was hooked up...but she is perfectly healthy and loving life =)...Enjoy the photos and I'll update more often!

38 weeks and then some

Well, we've reached 38 weeks. Which means Madeline will be here in ONE WEEK!!!

BUT, since I'm posting this later....she will be here in 3 short days. Yep, this will be our last weekend of 'Jae & Brant'...From here on out we will be a family of 3. SOOOOO crazy to believe that these 9 months have come so quickly. We feel pretty ready for her...This is going to be lots of fun!

A look back from week 16 to 37

2 weeks!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!! Just 2 weeks and we will meet our little Madeline. WOW! The past 9 months have FLOWN by! I thought they said the last months would drag?? Not in my case have they dragged. This is my last week of work - I am SUPER excited about this. I will hopefully have a good, relaxing last week before she comes. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. I know I'll have Drs. appointments and I'll do some cleaning and last minute preparation for her arrival. But, I will most likely concentrate on resting up! Everyone keeps telling me to rest up now, so I shall rest ;). I'm way behind on my belly shots, so I'll get those updated and see what other photos I can take to share ;).

Dresser Knobs

So, I had to put a special thank you to Patty for making Maddie's dresser knobs. They match her bedding to a T and we just LOVE them! They are sooooooooo cute, the pictures don't do the justice. Of course, I couldn't pass it up on sharing!

Baby Shower

ooops, I forgot to post the baby shower pics. End of September, Amy, Patty, Jenny & Jenn all hosted a baby shower for Maddie and me. It was so much fun, even though more than 1/2 couldn't make it we still made it a good time. We played games, had yummy cake, punch and food and of course opened all Maddie's goodies. Here are a few photos I was able to upload. SPECIAL THANK YOU to Amy, Patty, Jenny and Jenn for hosting such an awesome shower. Everything was perfect and I couldn't ask for anything more special.

34, 35, oh who's counting the weeks when...

We can start the countdown to Maddie's arrival!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She will be here via C-section (99% confirmed) on October 26th. Just 25 days!


MySpace Countdowns

We got to see her again today, by surprise! We had to see if she was still breech and yep, she is! Kristen, our U/S tech said looks like it'll be a C-section. I don't have much fluid or room in there as I did 3 weeks ago, so it looks like she's staying put. She's had over 5 weeks to turn, but I guess she loved her place. She also weighs 5 lbs, 5 oz. Before we went back my guess was 5.5 and I was right on target!!!

Here are the U/S pics -- Look at those lips - haha! They crack me up. I know they probably won't look like that when she comes out, but this is just too cute!!!
