My Dr. appt

Well...what an interesting Dr. appt I had today =).
I told him {based on the last U/S} that Maddie was breech, so we did an exam, she's still that way so he says, 'Well, do you want to go ahead and schedule your C-section' huh? what? already! wow! haha! So, I tell him I'm going back on the 8th for another 4D, b/c the photos weren't great last time and she wanted me to come back. He said, ok that's good we'll see her position and when you come back in 2 weeks if she's still breech we'll schedule the C-section! oh boy! We could possibly know the exact date of maddie's arrival -- I kind of like that idea. If we do schedule it, we're looking at October 27th. Of course, I'll keep you informed next week with photos from the U/S.

9 weeks and counting

So today we hit the single digit weeks -- 9 weeks to go! are you serious? 9 weeks and it won't just be Brant and I any longer. It will be Brant, Jae and Maddie. Also can't believe that I have been carrying her for 31 weeks! 31 weeks -- that seems like a LONG time doesn't it?!?!

Well, since we're getting down to the wire, you better believe I'm making my list and checking it twice.

Maddie's nursery -- 95%
Maddie's arrival -- 50% -- will it ever be 100 ;)?
Is the house ready -- 25%
All the necessities -- 80%
Bags packed -- 10%
Coming home outfit - ORDERED!
This list could go on and on....
Jae & Brant ready -- 0% Just Kidding!! We'll be ready and we're both sooo excited to meet her.

Her room is nearly complete -- pictures below! I didn't take my normal 31 week photo, so instead you get a glimpse of a maternity shoot photo. Maddie's Auntie Ayms came down from Houston this past weekend to take my maternity photos. We had a great time doing them and I can't wait to finish editing them so I can share!!

30 and more!

We've made it to 30 weeks! WOO HOO! Only 10 weeks to go - wow! I've attached my 30 weeks old photo- yep, Maddie grows by the day ;). We went to go *see* her this morning and it was awesome. She's measuring 30 weeks and 1 day and weighs about 3 pounds, 2 ounces. We go back on the 8th to see if we can't get better photos b/c she was in a ball today and wouldn't move from it :).

Also, great news, look what's done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE CLOSET! I'm sooo happy. The paint is still drying, then we'll lay the carpet down, but I love it and can't wait to put all her clothes in there ;).

What week are we on now?

End of 29!!!!!!!!!!! I have been behind on my posting, sorry! AND, I must admit I forgot my 28 week photo :(....but surely there wasn't much change ;). Can't believe in a few short days I will be at 30 weeks. That's only 10 weeks until Miss Maddie is here...now that is unreal. We have our first 3D ultrasound Tuesday and I can't WAIT! I'm so excited to see what she looks like and weighs and just seeing her again. I will be sure to post the photo once I make it to a computer.

Not too much going on since my last post. Still waiting for the closet to be completed and to have her nursery DONE!!!!!!! If you know me, you know I've been VERY patient, otherwise it would have been completed by now. =) hehe!

I see the light...

YAY! The closet doors are actually in the wall and put together {almost} WOO HOO! It's 50 % done. There still is painting, cocking and the inside to be completed {which should be done by next weekend}, but this progress makes me happy and it looks SOOO awesome! I love the doors we chose and Brant did a good job picking out the trim and accessories. Here are a few photos of the project. I know I'm late on the 28 week post...I'll update that soon I just can't find my little camera - hmmmmm!

Weekend Events!

Whew! What a weekend this was! It first started with the wedding of Jenn and Blanton -YAY!! Yep, they finally got hitched. Friday and Saturday were full of fun events with lots of food, laughter, running around and everything in between. The wedding was gorgeous, Jenn was a beautiful bride and it was so much fun. I am (still) however, exhausted! I think Maddie decided to grow a lot over the weekend, by Sunday I couldn't walk anymore ;) -- or maybe I just didn't want to. hehe.

Sunday, my cousin Leeanne and Cuz-in-law Jason came down from Colorado to visit the family and Sunday was our day. We always have sooo much fun being with them, so the 2 short days we had just wasn't enough. We already miss them, but I know we'll see them again soon :). This is actually the 2nd time in 2 years we got to see each other at least twice a year instead of once...so we'll take the 2 short days any time! ;).

Then rest of Maddie's curtains came in today, so we got to hang them up and finish that project. We are getting there!!!! Closet will be worked on this weekend and hopefully finished. Once I get that done I can finish up her room and wait for the small things - woo hoo!! Can't wait to be completely done.

27 weeks!

We've reached 27 weeks....1 week away from the 3rd trimester and 7 months!!! Woo Hoo! Can't believe she will be here in 13 weeks.

News:
Had our monthly Dr. appointment. She was measuring 28 {a week ahead} woo hoo! Last time she was mearusing 2 weeks behind...so I was happy about this. All of my things are perfect and they tell me I am 'the perfect PG lady' who does everything she's supposed to do ;). hehe!

I got her curtains in the mail and LOVE them! They are the perfect color and sooo soft! I do have photos, but I am waiting for 1 more polka dot curtain. I thought 1 would be plenty for the look I'm doing, but I actually need 2. So once I get that in the mail those will be completed.

The closet doors are FINALLY being worked on :). The 'plan' is to have it done or 1/2 done tomorrow -- we'll see how that goes.

Of course, I already posted the wall letters, which are too cute!

The only things left are:
1. completed closet
2. dresser knobs
3. completed curtains
4. finish decorating the walls

We're getting there!!!
